Cristina Research Foundation was founded on August 16, 1991 by Dr. Victor S. Limlingan, then a Professor of the Asian Institute of Management to serve as the corporate vehicle for his public policy research and advocacy activities.
Through Cristina Research, Dr. Limlingan has participated in preparing the City Deveolpment Plan of the City of Makati; in the drafting of bills in Congress on the Kalakalan (Small Business Enterprises) Bill, the Overseas Workers Development Plan, Reorganization the the Central Bank (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas), the Electric Power Industry Reform Act (EPIRA) and recently on Reforming Philippine Basic Education.
In undertaking this research and advocacy, Cristina Research has work with the Asia Foundation, the Nationa Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), the Congressional Planning and Budget Office (CPBO), the Economic and Development Center of the Ateneo de Manila.
